FAQ: What happened to Go Sporting Goods?

In October, 2007, Go Sporting Goods started doing business under a new name: Roth Motor Company. This change was made to better reflect what our company is all about — and where it’s headed. Our ambition is nothing less than to create a complete line of state-of-the-art electric vehicles, and we feel the new name better communicates this idea.

The name comes from our founder and chief product designer, David Roth.
